The Library now seeks a detailed oriented and self-motivated individual to join the team of Digital and Multimedia Services Section. The successful candidate will (a) check and organise a large number of image files; (b) create descriptive data and subject tags for these images; and (c) assist in the usability test of the image database. He/She will also provide clerical support for the section and take up any other duties assigned by his/her supervisor.

Applicants should possess (i) at least a diploma with three years of related experience OR a degree with one year of related experience; (ii) good interpersonal and organisational skills; (iii) a mature and meticulous attitude; and (iv) proficient computer and Chinese typing skills. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a typing test.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract of one year. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and availability of funding.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
