Responsible Officer for Regulated Activity 6 (Corporate Finance)

A Listed Company has been expanding its business from Property Development and Hotel Chain to financial industry and is are looking a Strategic Function Head to manage the Corporate Finance Unit and act as a Responsible Officer. Reporting to the CEO, the incumbent is responsible for

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for business planning & corporate development to achieve long-term growth of the Brokerage business
• Manage the P&L of the whole Corporate Finance Function & its overall operations
• Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and leading related staff to provide quality services and promote a full range of corporate finance services to customers.
• Motivate staff towards exceeding individual as well as branch common goals and objectives.
• Oversee the security controls of the branch and ensure the smooth branch operations and achieve satisfactory service standards through meeting all requirements of compliance and control
• Develop & implement the strong marketing, product/service development and customer relationship strategies.
• Recruit sales staff and sales team to expand the market share
• Provide ongoing training program to all our sales persons,
• Perform customer services with high quality, so as to build a good image for the clients.
• Lead a team of professionals to place all kind of orders for our sales persons including both of local and global markets precisely and quickly.
• Manage the daily operation of the Unit efficiently and effectively, and make sure all the activities have to comply with the rules and regulation.

Requirements:

• University degree and preferably with an MBA and relevant professional qualifications.
• At least 15 years’ relevant experience in securities industry or corporate finance or investment banking with a minimum of 10 years senior management level, business planning and branch operation management
• Possess License status of SFC in RA6 (Corporate Finance) with Principal capacity in IPO or/and Takeover
• Clear understanding of the Hong Kong business environment, with a track record of delivering successful & profitable business growth.
• In depth knowledge of financial products, such as securities, derivatives, and with minimum 10 years corporate finance and listing experience.
• Excellent sales management and excellent interpersonal & communications skills
• Result-oriented, innovative problem solving technique
• Good interpersonal skill and strong leadership.
• Fluent written and spoken English & Chinese.
