Key Responsibilities:

• Deal with vendors as a project leader. Frequent travel to China suppliers.
• Handle the sourcing activities through requesting, collecting and comparing the vendors' quotations
• Implement the product requirements, budgeting, schedule and resource allocation in every project
• Coordinate the cross-functional teams with Far East factory, Hong Kong office and suppliers to work on the new product development projects. Communicate with Product Manager based in Middlebury.
• Collaborate with the suppliers on daily basis and resolve outstanding issues during the product development process. On-site monitoring in the production line is required if necessary.
• Work closely with the product engineering, testing and QC teams to ensure the successful and timely product launch of the multifunctional Expedition/sports watches.
• Ensure a smooth transition of the newly launched products from New Product Development team to Purchasing team

 Requirement:

• Degree or above in Business or Manufacturing related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years solid working experience in consumer product development.  Previous working experience in watch industry preferred, not a must.
• Excellent project management skill, PMP (or equivalent) certificate preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English, verbally and in writing
• Ability to summarize project status and report to management critical issues on timely basis
• Demonstrate experience and relevant expertise in product development.
• Technical - basic manufacturing knowledge, engineering drawings concepts and other product development concepts.
