The Buying Manager serves as a key commercial role in WBA Asia sourcing team, responsible for sourcing and development of Electronics & Mobile Accessories categories. The incumbent leads the team with solid category expertise, accountable for delivery of the synergy target, operation excellence (i.e. on time, inspection / testing pass rate), lean efficiency and supplier development. The incumbent also lead the development of sourcing and supply strategy, creation and execution of JBP with strategic partners. Continuous talent development is also a key for the position. 

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• Execute and drive the Global sourcing strategies & category strategies
• Lead a team of commercial buyer\senior buyer and work collaboratively with Global team in US, UK & International Markets in delivering sourcing solutions
• Champion sourcing strategy of mobile accessories & electronics by development of sourcing team to be category expertise 
• Manage Asia based suppliers, identify best-in-class manufacturers,build and maintain supplier relationship
• Strategic supplier development, JBP creation and execution
• Accountable for the team end-to-end project management, achieve team KPI (OTD, Quality)
• Enable Global new product launches, plan-o-gram reset from Asia and drive the business, negotiate commercial benefits to attain best value & maximum profitability
• Work closely with Quality & Ethics team ensuring supplier compliance to brand protection at all times
• Continuous talent development

Key Position Requirements:

• Degree qualified with minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in Electronics in buying office or manufacturing environment, at least 3 years in managerial position
• In depth knowledge and understanding of global trends, consumers behavior of US, UK & International markets of Household category
• Strong suppliers network, good knowledge of industrial trend and intelligent
• Strong operational management to lead best-in-class operation excellence
• Excellence negotiation skill, strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrating initiative and result oriented
• High motivation and strong inter-personal skills to lead cross functional team work
• Strong command of English language both written and verbal & Putonghua
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• Global travel as required to support business needs
