Position Overviews

This position is designed for entry level trainees to offer a comprehensive foundation on which to build a successful financial career emphasizing in investment. The position will, in addition, give you the opportunity to gain experience in a number of key business areas, and eventually equip selected trainees with management skills to get involved in company and business development. Outstanding trainees will have an opportunity to be a part of the management team in their careers.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior managers to provide professional advice for clients on asset management, wealth management, securities and futures, CIES, MPF advisory and asset protection
• Assist senior managers in presenting investment portfolio and market outlook to clients
• Trained to be able to provide investment advice for clients
  
• Work as a team to organize business development events, such as, investment seminars, marketing events and road shows regarding investment
  
• Develop your own client servicing skills, and make use of your professional knowledge to maintain a good relationship with clients
• Develop your interpersonal skills and management skills to be a part of the management team in the later stage of your career
• Opportunity to develop your career in China (optional) when you are promoted to junior management level

Training program support

Different levels of training programs will be offered in different stages of a trainee. For instance, fundamental product and financial knowledge, investment knowledge, and interpersonal skills training will be offered in the early stage of your career. Advanced training programs, such as, team building and team management training, will be offered in the later stage of the career

Mentor support

Senior managers will act as a personal mentor, providing coaching and guidance to help trainees to maximize their career potential

Buddy support

Investment trainees will be paired up with a colleague who has had experiences on similar development programs before, and they will share experiences, offer guidance and help new trainees adapt to the new working environment

Requirements

• University degree holders or above (Other majors besides Economics or Finance will also be considered)
• IANG candidates are welcome
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent self-motivation and able to work independently
  
• Strong written and verbal communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Fluent in Cantonese, basic in English is required; fluent in Mandarin will be a plus
