The incumbent is responsible for proactively manage the wholesales business and customer experience in the China and Taiwan regions in addition to a variety of other tasks.

Responsibilities:

Wholesale Sales

• Identify and develop relationships with wholesale clients in China and Taiwan regions
• Work directly with Asia Pacific Regional Director to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets and promote business; and regularly update him on the status of accounts related to sales, inventory levels, opportunities and challenges issues
• Follow up projects for new opening, relocation and closure
• Implement on and control marketing activities, visual merchandising and operation for wholesale clients
• Attend collection presentations and fashion shows in Italy
• Manage seasonal sales campaign in showroom
• Prepare sales and product collection reports for management review at the end of the sales campaign
• Review and monitor buying budget submitted by clients
• Assist customers in the fabric, measurement and selection process
• Review initial orders/assortments from customers and recommend additional and replacement styles
• Order entry and checking of order confirmations
• Analyze sales and inventory reports from franchisees to assess their growth potential
• Analyze business by style, group and client on a as needed basis
• Frequent travel to wholesale POS for training and support

 Customer Service

• Orders follow up (coordination with headquarters logistic dept. for all deliveries related issues; with accounting dept. for payments, etc.)
• Product returns follow up
• Respond to wholesale inquiries in a timely manner
• Conduct regular and constant visits to regional points of sales, provide collection training to sales staff and gather market information
• Coordination with MTM & Training team for product trainings
• Coordination with VM team (their visits and activities)

 Other Assignments

• Support press events organization
• Coordination with other headquarters departments (sales & marketing, global communication for seasonal materials i.e. catalogs, etc.; design & architecture for support to projects development, occasional contact with contractors)
• Seasonal selection of press samples for regional PR agencies
• Translation/revision in Chinese language (i.e. product seminars, advertisements, web site, legal notices)

 Requirements:

• At least 5 years relevant working experience (preferably in luxury menswear)
• University graduate in related disciplines
• Strong network with key accounts and wholesale partners
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work largely on own initiative
• Team player, outgoing, energetic
• Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Willing to Travel (Extensive travel is required)
