Job Description

Our client is an well-established organisation with diversified business operations in the group.  Currently, they are looking for a seasoned Accountant who is responsible for operating and monitoring the accounting functions within their F&B business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for handling and monitoring daily accounting operations and transactions of 2 restaurants’ accounting activities
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, journal voucher, debit note, income certificate, revenue voucher checking, income audit, stock take exercise, F&B cost control and bank balance monitoring
  • Liaise with Restaurants’ manager / chief chefs, Group’s Senior Management and suppliers on AP payment, taking into consideration available funding
  • Ensure credit procedures, settlement and guaranteed followed up in timely manner
  • Assist and coordinate in internal and external audit
  • Prepare monthly closing of the accounts of the Restaurants and relating monthly financial and management reports
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly payroll and record management for the Restaurants, including necessary autopay authorisation form and MPF contribution documents for permanent staff and causal labour
  • Handle relevant regulatory requirements of the Restaurants, including annual audit, tax filing and corporate secretarial matters
  • Follow up on employee compensation and insurance
  • Complete government survey
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in F&B catering
  • Qualified accountant is preferred
  • Knowledge in accounting software, experience in Peachtree will be a plus
  • Responsible, independent, well organized, self-initiative and details-oriented
  • A good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-versed with MS office and Chinese word processing
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
  • Immediate available is highly preferred
