This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical advice in the overall management and supervision of safety and health aspects of all construction projects
• Review and approve all safety manuals and plans submitted by the contractors
• Act as the Safety Advisor and assist in promoting safety and health among staff and contractors for continuous performance improvement and uplift of safety standards
• Monitor contractors’ safety performance including safety inspections and audit, and proactively resolve safety related issues and potential hazards in an effective and efficient manner
• Conduct incident and accident investigation, identify root cause and formulate improvement actions with the contractors

Requirements: 

•  A recognized Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate from Technical Institute in Construction Safety / Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent with at least 10 years’ relevant working experience in safety management of construction projects
•  Degree holder with at least 6 years’ relevant working experience will also be considered
•  Solid experience in safety management of airport works under a live operation environment is an advantage
•  A Registered Safety Officer under the Factories & Industrial Undertakings Ordinance is a must
•  Good leadership and strong communication skills
•  Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese with knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage
•  Holder of a valid HK driving license (Class 1, 2) is preferred
