Responsibilities:

• Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as implement backup and index maintenance, as wellas monitor sql server performance
• Develop MySQL Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions
• Finetune SQL queries and enforce standard coding based on best practices
• Maintain database in high availability and ensure all production system works properly
• Maintain Database Replication and Clustering
• Generate ad-hoc and scheduled reports
• Provide database technical support to application developers
• Implement database security parameters including responsibilities, request sets, and system access

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 2+ years experienced in MySQL
• Degree Holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant discipline
• Holder of MySQL 5.x Database Administrator (OCP) is advantage
• Strong in technical support skills including trouble shooting and performance tuning
• Hands-on experience in advanced SQL programming is a MUST
• Familiar with MySQL Cluster, MySQL Fabric, MySQL Router and MySQL Shell is advantage
• More experience will be considered as “Senior Database Administrator”
