Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist actuarial valuation of life insurance liabilities for reserving, reporting and business planning purposes
- Assist in calculating traditional embedded value and value of new business
- Assist in preparation of regulatory reports (including but not limited to Dynamic Solvency Test and Solvency Position)
- Assist developments/maintenance of actuarial model (Prophet)
- Analyze and explain key movements of the financial results
- Provide support for the adoption, implementation and compliance of group and local policies, guidelines and procedures related to actuarial reporting
Requirement:
- Degree holder with Actuarial major preferred
- 1-2 years of Actuarial experience with life valuation experience will be an advantage
- Passing preliminary life actuarial qualification exams is an advantage
- Knowledge on Hong Kong local statutory valuation is an advantage
- Team player, self-motivated and attention to details
- Proficiency in MS Office applications. Prophet knowledge is an advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
