Executive Summary:

Our client is a top management consultancy. This is a newly created role due to booming demand in Asia on Business Data Analytics Solutions. The successful candidate will deliver analytics and artificial intelligence projects and serve as a subject matter expert in Hong Kong. He/she will be a part of an international team of analytics experts, you will think end-to-end – from analysis to strategy through to implementation.

Experience / Skill Requirements:

• Academic background in Computer Science, Math and Statistics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, leading and delivering onshore/offshore teams.
• Ability to lead, plan and manage overall solution implementation and post-implementation support with SAS Customer Intelligence family of solutions, e.g., SAS Campaign Management, SAS Marketing Optimization, SAS Digital Marketing, SAS Marketing Operation Management and SAS BI.
• Good understanding of the business value of big data and work with senior clients to identify their business problems to develop the right approach and analytical solution
• Ability to translate open ended business problems in analytical hypothesis and test the hypothesis leveraging various data sources
• Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Big Data and/or Data Warehousing data toolsets, e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, SQL, Informatica, etc
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
• Some experience in business development and professional presentation
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience with Data Warehousing toolsets, data migration, and implementing ETL process.
