The Job

• To assist in the review, consolidation and reporting of month-end information prepared by offices located in the Region
• ​​​To assist in the preparation of financial analysis by programme and location.
• To partner with East Region GMs to understand local business and provide commercial guidance on business opportunities to exploit and/or manage costs more effectively
• To communicate with local GMs to learn about the GTS businesses and global programmes to understand where we make money / lose money
• To contact key customers to better understand Intertek’s service offering
• ​​​To assist in the production of the annual Forecasts and Budgets
• To assist in the performance reviews of local entities, including some foreign travel
• To assist in reconciling all financial information contained in the operations system with the financial information reported by individual entities within the Cognos reporting system
• To respond to any Ad Hoc queries regarding the regional financials

 The Person

• Degree holder;
• Studying towards CIMA/ACCA, with at least 2 years proven experience
• ​​​Previous experience of foreign currency transactions and reporting
• ​​​Previous experience of providing support to multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English is essential
• Experience of both financial and management accounting
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Power Point and Excel
• Has knowledge in Cognos reporting system desirable
