Risk and Compliance - Credit Risk Review
Hang Seng's Risk and Compliance ("RKM") strives to maintain a well-balanced risk profile for the Bank while enabling businesses to thrive. Our team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types. We are dedicated to collaborate with businesses, other functional units and regulatory bodies to develop and implement robust and customized risk management frameworks and measures to maintain the strong market position of the Bank.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Credit Risk Review Manager.
Principal responsibilities

Ensure smooth preparatory activities ahead of the credit reviews

Participate in the credit review process, ensuring the timely completion of file review and ancillary activities related to the review

Keep abreast of policies, standards and conduct reviews on corresponding file review checklists

Provide ancillary support on the portfolio risk and wholesale credit stress testing management and the BCBS Principles for Effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting (PERDARR) Compliance Program

Be familiar with policy changes and local site regulations and practices

Consult the stakeholders prior to an Onsite Review to ensure all the concerns are addressed.
Requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or related fields

Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit risk management in a Regulated environment, with a good understanding of the Basel accords and requirements for compliance specific to HSBC / HASE

Excellent communication and inter-personal skills who possess the flexibility to deal effectively with colleagues from different functional areas and cultural backgrounds

Ability to work independently and proactively in clarifying any uncertainties on application of policies and sharing the findings

Knowledgeable about the different economic and lending environments which HASE operates in

Strength of conviction to identify and raise issues and justify concerns to ensure appropriate action is taken

Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
