Financial Control - Asset, Liability and Capital Management Department

Hang Seng's Financial Control function works closely with the Bank's stakeholders, including business partners, shareholders, regulators and external examiners. We function as their accountants and business partners in providing comprehensive information on financial management, financial planning, financial reporting and compliance, capital planning and reporting, financial control & SOX control, tax advisory, insurance finance, and treasury and investment finance.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Capital Management as Assistant Finance and Accounting Manager

Principal responsibilities

• Prepare regular reporting on balance sheet management
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative commentary on various analyses
• Assist in measuring and monitoring on risk parameters of liquidity / funding risk and interest rate risk in banking book
• Conduct sensitivity / stress tests in relation to the management of liquidity / funding risk and interest rate risk in banking book
• Assist in policy review and implementation of Basel III Liquidity Standards / HKMA Supervisory Policy Manual requirements

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline, with a recognized qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA, CFA and FRM
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant banking experience
• Good knowledge of banking and financial products
• Ability to work under pressure and attentiveness to details, with strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Sound knowledge of application software, such as Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective collaboration with business units
