Job Description

The Group is looking for an individual who has a good knowledge/understanding of logistics and can also assume the responsibility for not only new business development, but the sourcing and procurement of both suppliers and products/services for their international client base.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Job Title: Logistics & Sourcing Sales Executive

 

(Logistics, Client Sourcing and Procurement Management)

 

Reporting To: Managing Director 

 

Pre-requisites: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

 

Minimum of 4 year’ s experience in the logistics industry

 

Responsibilities:

 

•           Generating new business development through supplier networks

•           The sourcing and procurement of both suppliers and products/services

•           The audit and quality control of product/service at source

•           The negotiation and settlement of competitive buy rates or pricing

•           Supplier coordination, collaboration, management and control 

•           Management of key performance indicators throughout the supply chain

•           Quality control and management at source

•           Supplier factory audit and ex-factory quality control

•           Sale and implementation of Tradenav 

•           Minimisation of reverse logistics 

•           Ensuring contractual and/or legal agreements are in place

•           Negotiating sell price, including terms and conditions of supply

•           Generate new, profitable business within the Group’s defined parameters

•           Service existing clients, end-to-end supply chain analysis and evaluation

•           Analysis, formulation and implementation of supply chain logistics solutions

•           Generate and present proposals to clients

•           Prepare estimates (costing schedules) to clients

•           Negotiate client rate increases annually

•           Coordination, collaboration and communication throughout the supply chain

•           Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing sales initiatives

•           Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base               with a strategic focus on HK controlled business and procurement

•           Manage and oversee branch operations and operational issues

•           Report to management on Hong Kong Branch performance

•           Implement performance plans according to company procedure

•           Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement

•           Uphold the Santova Brand and Culture

 

Requirements:

 

  •          Ability to work independently
  •          Innovative, creative set of skills
  •          Strong negotiation skills
  •          Willingness and ability to travel internationally, particularly Mainland China
  •          Ability to communicate in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  •          Strong business acumen and industry expertise in Hong Kong and China
