Responsibilities

• Ensure that the artistic vision is properly represented in the end-product; this may include compression and framerate optimization, computer graphics development, plugins etc.
• Develop and maintain tools, software, platforms and templates for use by artists, animations and designers.
• Create and maintain art and design production workflow to improve team agility and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems involving the production workflow.
• Apply the newest technologies and techniques to improve the art production workflow.
• Train and mentor team members on new tools and techniques when necessary.

Requirements

• Degree in Art, Computer Science; related disciplines; or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years relevant working experience in game industry or related industries.
• Expert knowledge of dynamic scripting languages and/or C# and C++.
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and/or After Effects preferred.
• Expert knowledge of user interface and user experience design across multiple platforms.
• Strong detailed and technical mindset.
• Strong time management, organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Flourishes in a flexible and agile work environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive and can work independently.
• Demonstrates creativity, passion and ownership.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered as a Technical Artist.
