This is an opportunity with an International Bank. Particularly with their new APAC network built out. Particularly, this position will be for the Network Technical Competence Centre operates and supports complex client networks in the APAC region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support for mission critical network infrastructures
• Be responsible for level 1-3 support including first line diagnosis, resolution and root cause analysis of network related problems;
• Implement network changes in accordance with the change management process;
• Support network infrastructure components including but not limited to router, switches, firewall, load balancer, proxy server, VPN, Infoblox, ACS, WLC…etc;
• Utilize network management systems/software and/or appropriate analyzer to collect routine/ad hoc network load statistics, model performance, and create reports;
• Need to provide on-call support during non-office hours.

Requirements:

• Degree in an engineering, telecommunications, or IT related discipline
• At least 6 years solid working experience on complex network operations and/or maintenance preferably in a regional banking and finance environment
• With experiences working in data centre LAN infrastructure environment
• Experiences on popular brands of network equipment; with hands on experiences on firewalls VPN, proxy and load balancers would have added advantages
• Experience in LAN/WAN standards and protocols (e.g. VLAN, OSPF, SNA, DSLW, BSTUN, MPLS, etc)
• Familiar with common domestic and international telecommunication services
• Able to handle perform the daily work assignments with minimal supervision
• Analytical skills in troubleshooting and problem solving
• Be a team player
