Job Description

Principle Responsibilities:

  • To provide support to users in respect of the relocation, installation, maintenance and operation of computer software and hardware;
  • Handle equipment deliveries and rack-mount IT equipment;
  • Server, webserver and system maintenance and back up;
  • Maintain Front and Back Office Environment operation during trading hours;
  • Coordinate with Service Providers, Vendors, HKEx;
  • Provide PCs, Laptops and applications technical support to the group’s end-users;
  • Prepare documentations such as user guide;
  • Telecommunication support including recording system, digital phone system maintenance and back up
  • Perform any ad-hoc projects.

Skills/Qualifications:

 

  1. Previous experience in securities firm with hands-on experience in trading system operation is preferred;
  2. Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related disciplines;
  3. Network infrastructure support knowledge, e.g. VPN, Firewall, Router;
  4. At least three years hands-on experience on Windows Server 2008, SQL server and networking and firewall. Experienced Windows Server 2012 will be advantage;
  5. Certificate on Windows, Unix platform, and/or database is highly preferred;
  6. Solid written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese are required;
  7. Detail-oriented and is able to work independently in a diverse cultural environment;
  8. Microsoft Office skills
