  • Directly responsible for maintaining and enhancing various retail systems including POS, CRM and polling application etc. Liaise with group on ERP and WMS. Participate and support on the running on website and online stores.
  • Understand from business user groups to define user requirements and recommend for new systems and upgrades to existing systems, conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis of system implementation and related procedural changes
  • Perform project management and determines project scope, prepares project work plans and timelines. Monitor project milestones and reports project progress to business users and management.
  • Prepare project proposals and budget (in terms of cost/benefits) to business user and management for system related business initiatives 
  • Participates in recommending budget items, implement and allocate resources following budget approval
  • Works closely with business users, technical staff and vendors to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Attend to user requests or problems promptly and involve Group IT department when necessary. Works as the focal contact point between business users, Group IT department and vendors
  • Work closely with Group IT department on identification and evaluation of solutions for business consideration when necessary
  • Manage production system problems by working closely with the business users and Group IT department 
  • Enforced system security and comply with the Group standard 
  • Keep on new developments in system and plans for future upgrades and application changes. Keep abreast of government regulations applicable to system operations and ensure compliance

Job Requirements

  • University graduate in IT related discipline
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in system application implementation and project management
  • Experience in managing user requirement, user acceptance test, system implementation in retail industry
  • Knowledge of CRM System, POS, Time and attendance systems, Oracle etc
  • Possess good problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Excellent project management skills
