Responsibilities:

• Be a team leader to lead software development projects in planning, design, implementation, documentation and supports.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on project requirements and milestones.
• Propose methodologies, tools, technical standards, interface and integration for the projects.
• Quality assurance of project deliverables in terms of accuracy, reliability and performance.
• Management of the project team including staff management, budget, and procurement.
• Take up ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in system development of which 4 years are in supervisory position.
• Good track record of project and people management experience.
• Solid experience in software development life cycle covering requirement analysis, functional specification, system design, development, testing and deployment.
• Hands-on experience in Web based application development using the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP) stack.
• Experience in database design and open source software.
• Experience in mobile application development and/or digital book systems would be an advantage.
• Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
• Leadership skills and able to motivate team members.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
