Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Affairs) and support the Communications and Public Affairs Office in all Chinese writing-related and content-creation tasks, including but not limited to press releases, news articles, feature stories, College events, interviews, speeches, website proof-reading and updating the contents regularly, and brochures and leaflets for events, promotion and branding etc.;
  • Create and update contents on social media platform; and
  • Provide support and assistance to all activities launched / organized by the Communications and Public Affairs Office.

 

Applicants should:

  • Possess a recognized bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Literature, Translation, Public Relations, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or related disciplines;
  • Possess excellent command of Chinese language and strong professional writing;
  • Have strong communication and inter-personal skills; and
  • Be creative, well-organized, meticulous and a good team player.

 

Working outside normal office hours may be required.  Experience of working in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
