Our client is a market leader in retail chain business. They are seeking for a high caliber to lead the buying team.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Merchandising Director and lead a team of buyers. Responsible to manage sourcing, buying, retail promotions etc. to achieve business target.
• Responsible for category management. Analyze sales and market trend to plan for appropriate product mix.
• Work closely with supplier on planogram requirement. Lead merchandisers for efficient use of space and product layout.
• Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, promotion budget and trade terms.
• Work closely with marketing, sales and logistics to achieve business target.

Requirements:

• Degree or above with 8 years relevant experience in buying / merchandising from retail sector.
• Experience in food category is an advantage.
• Pro-active, energetic and good communication skills.
• Proficient in English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
