Job Description

The Learning & Development (L&D) teams have a key role to play in this transformation, globally supporting both, business transformation (cultural change, strategic workshops…) and individual up-skilling (both on soft and technical skills).

The learning solutions, identified by close collaboration with the business and their respective HRBP, will have to be scoped, defined, designed, delivered and monitored in order to continuously improve business relevance, efficiency and impact.

As a global support function and in alignment with AXA and AXA Tech globalization, the L&D team will have to manage coordination and consistency across boundaries.

The AXA Tech L&D team will have to operate leveraging AXA Group HR and L&D initiatives and operating model.

The LDM-AS is a business partner supporting skills development and organizational transformation needs with efficient learning programs for Asia region (HK, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Japan). She/he will be responsible to manage the regional L&D activity, define, arbitrate and deploy the training plan aiming at supporting the AXA Tech’s transformation and AXA Tech Academy development.

 

The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following:

  • Understand the business challenges regarding AXA, IT and AXA Tech’s strategic transformation.
  • Identify the respective business and HR stakeholders and create a strong partnership with them. Translate their challenges into learning solutions when relevant.
  • Coordinate and actively collaborate with the workforce evolution team to align the learning agenda with the workforce evolution deployment.
  • Localize, deploy and monitor global learning / AXA Tech Academy solutions impacting in her / his zone.
  • Continuously assessing the quality and impact of each program deployed in their zone.
  • Manage regional L&D budget.
  • Develop country HRBPs capability in managing L&D topics.
  • Support country HRBPs in the management of the Global LMS (Cornerstone on demand).
  • Responsible for zone / country regulatory and mandatory legal compliance. Responsible and accountable for ensuring mandatory actions are managed and delivered on time and on scope.
  • Responsible of the training plan definition and deployment on time, on budget and in line with the AXA Tech strategy.
  • Continuous market watch assessment for new learning innovations, practices and trends, and identify project and opportunities to test them within AXA Tech.

 

The successful candidate should possess:

Technical and professional skills:

  • Good knowledge of digital trends, IT transformation and understanding of their impact on the business, culture and management,
  • Change management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • L&D competencies (Need analysis, instructional design…)
  • Asian training market knowledge

 Behavioral skills:

  • Influencing skills – capacity to challenge the business requests to identify the real learning needs.
  • Interpersonal skills – ease in interacting with staff at all levels – capacity to create his network with the business and the L&D teams.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Ease in an international context, capacity to operate with different cultures and work remotely.
  • Solution oriented.
  • Capacity to deal with uncertainty – adaptability.

 English proficiency is mandatory.

 Plus:

  • Strong business acumen / IT business / Digital background.
  • Cornerstone on demand experience.

 

The candidate should be an L&D specialist having operated in a regional or global role, ideally with an IT or technical background.

Operating in a small team she/he should be able to operate from strategic visioning to hands-on activities.
