Key Responsibilities

• Special/Commercial credits ongoing monitoring + other Lombard credits through dedicated excess lists as per the Credit Policy guidelines
• Liaise with Relationship Managers (RMs) to obtain comments on measures to be taken to regularize excesses (margin and limit excesses)
• Validation of pending payments/cashier withdrawals
• Private Equity entry blocks monitoring
• Input / release credit block on accounts as means to control risk
• Prepare Monthly Excess, Large Credit approvals and Watch List
• Monitoring (through Bloomberg) of High Risk clients’ portfolio as a back-up to S2i monitoring
• Send margin call notices / enforcement notices to clients via RMs
• If a specific situation requires so, liquidate open positions/portfolios directly with the traders should the RM and/or the client not be cooperative in such situations
• Input credit limits and other parameters such as risk groups, cross pledges, pricing, etc.
• Perform portfolio analyses and market / issuer risk event monitoring for early identification of emerging collateral risks
• Ensure that the Bank complies with all external regulatory requirements regarding Credit Administration and Control
• Prepare internal MI, trackers and reports for use in CAC Asia and Head Office
• Daily securities analysis for possible attribution of standard lending and weighting rates
• Submit to Head Office all necessary and regular reports
• Assist the Head of CAC Asia / Head of CAC SG in ad hoc and standing projects

Requirements

• Minimum 4 – 6 years of relevant hands on experience in Private Banking
• Strong team player and able to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Previous managerial experience required
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese
