Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide quality operational support to Asset Management team including fund valuation and reconciliation, fees calculation, payment instruction and monthly statement preparation for discretionary account, etc
• Handle fund administration and operations duties including subscription, transfer, switching and redemption of funds, enquires from various parties and the documents related to account opening
• Responsible for handling trade/settlement, bank/broker account opening and month end reporting
• Liaise with various parties, such as fund managers, prime brokers, executing brokers, auditors, custodians, fund administrators and other service providers for any operational issue
• In collaboration with risk operations and compliance departments to formulate and implement proper internal control and procedures for managing operational and fiduciary risks
• Undertake any ad hoc projects assigned by the CEO

Requirements

• University degree holder in Finance or related disciplines
• 5 years or above working experience in the asset management (SFC Type 9) industry (fund operations, settlement, KYC, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, should be able to work as an individual and as a team
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin are a must
