Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor all quality functions including quality control, quality engineering, quality assurance and factory assessment
• Manage all internal and external quality issues to reach zero defects
• Review production process and quality policy to constantly improve the efficiency and effectiveness in preventing and detecting quality problems
• Lead a PRC QC team of 20 members to carry out the daily quality control function and define specifications to fulfill customers’ expectation
• Provide leading, coaching and training to the PRC QC team
• Monitor QC team's performance and traveling schedules
• Manage and review daily QC inspection reports to identify product quality risk & develop solution plan
• Present quality relative issues to technical team
• Visit factories periodically to monitor and improve quality control
• Follow up on customer complaints and corresponding corrective actions
• Generate standard testing procedures; coordinate on all testing schedules and results

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years solid QC experiences in footwear of which at least 3 years at supervisory level
• Good technical knowledge in all kind of shoes
• Familiar with US customers’ requirements
• Able to understand and apply Quality Tools for quality improvement and to provide relevant technique training.
• Strong leadership & supervision skills as well as problem solving skills
• Mature and tactful in dealing with people from all sorts of function and location.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Good computer skill by using Words, Excel, Outlook and Chinese input
• Daily travel to Shenzhen Office (just 5 mins from LoWu border to Shenzhen Shangri-la Hotel)
• Follow PRC’s holiday
• Immediate available is highly preferred 

Job Location: Shenzhen, China

Working Days Per Week:  5 days / 6 days (subject to workload)

Working Hours:  0930 to 1730
