Job Responsibilities:

Shipment management:

• Administer/monitor/support all supply chain related issues, including but not limited to transportation, shipment approval, claims, enquires and customs compliance.
• Handle shipment forecast & planning.
• 3PL, supplier and carrier management on daily operation.
• Maintain high efficiency on delivery schedules

PO management:

• Handle PO loading plan, issue and amend PO with most efficient cost.
• Responsible for end-to-end order tracking & ensure to fulfil supply chain procedures

System and reporting support:

• Provide the sourcing team on reporting data from system to support sourcing strategy.
• Analyse and check inventory level for SKUs, provide gaps and solutions to sourcing team.
• Maintain correct PO information in system, and make sure all systems aligned.
• Consolidate all supply chain KPIs and provide them regularly via Supply Chain reports to monitor the performance

As an Assistant Supply Chain Manager, you will:

• Identify opportunities for improving the solution design process and governance and implement appropriate actions (procedures, tools, training, etc);
• Identify requirements for, and develop appropriate proprietary tools to support the solution design process where required; e.g. cost models, productivity tools, warehouse sizing, layout design, process design, etc;
• Develop and carry-out training programs that support the development of core and specialist solution design competencies;
• Working with business development team in developing and presenting solutions for customers;
• Provide analysis and design support in the pursuit of new business, during new implementations or re-engineering of existing contracts;
• Working with our other DSC regions, select, and manage relationships with, providers of appropriate software tools for developing, modeling, evaluating, operating and selecting appropriate solution options;
• Ensuring all solutions are clearly outlined, and in professional formats, for presentation to customers that supports the sales to delivery process (hand over to ops, customer and operating assumptions, corporate process, etc);
• Represent company in dealings with customers, suppliers and others as required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Diploma holder or above in Logistics or Supply Chain related disciplines
• A minimum of 10 years experiences with a solid background in freight industry with emphasis on origin cargo management; VAS, consolidation and supply chain management. Less experience will be considered as Supply Chain Supervisor.
• Creative in solution design and process management from PO inception through to destination delivery;
• Strong numeric sense and analytical skills detail-minded, proactive and able to work independently.
• Pro-actively adapts responsive and empathetic approach to differing client styles;
• A capable leader with the intellectual experience and capacity to take our solution design to increase higher standards and value for the company & customers;
• Experience in PO Management system such as Log-Net, GT Nexus, Oracle are preferable but not a must
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
• Effective communication skill and fluent in English and Mandarin
• Immediate available is an advantage
