Responsibilities:

• Collect and analyze financial data and information obtained from external market resources (e.g.industry news, company reports);
• Provide professional and useful financial data to the company and clients based on a macro-economic view;
• Conduct thorough research evaluation and forecast of HK stock / China stock market and provide data analysis to both the sales team and clients;
• Undertake other ad hoc research and analysis duties assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance,Accounting, Business, Economics discipline or equivalent;
• Holder of CFA is an advantage;
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in equity research within a financial institution or brokerage house, preferably expertise in China stocks;
• Relevant investment research exposure in the PRC is a definite advantage;
• Analytical, self-initiative, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is a plus;
• Candidates from PRC will also be considered;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Analysis Assistant.
