Summary

 

This is a great opportunity to be part of our successful Research and Business Development Team, which helps our clients to gain the knowledge and expertise they require as part of their expansion projects, dealmaking workflow or investment analysis. You will be exposed to a broad range of sectors (including artificial intelligence, self driving cars, cloud technology, robotics,...). As part of your role, you will talk with business leaders in each sector, and also learn about clients' requirements and business strategies. The diversity of projects and tasks will ensure a steep learning curve and an exciting job role. The right candidate gets the chance to learn from a highly experienced team of entrepreneurs who mentor and teach their staff. You will receive detailed training with regards to business, negotiation skills and relationship management.

 

The role is full-time (3-month probation) and based in Hong Kong.

 

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • As a member of our business leaders facing team, you will be acting as the intermediary between our clients, and targeted business leaders / experts in various sectors.

  • Your role is to focus on our clients' knowledge gaps and define the specialist knowledge required to address them. You then research companies and industries in order to identify and engage leading subject-matter specialists, and connect them with our clients for short term engagements (e.g. global group video calls, executive roundtable discussions, keynote presentations at large client conferences, etc.). The engagements take place globally, offering you unique perspectives.

  • Once you excel at the core requirements of the business leaders facing role, you will take on additional responsibilities, including overall project management, relationship management, and coaching of junior colleagues. You will receive on-and-off-the-desk training along the core dimensions it takes to become a self-sufficient commercial leader, including business development, negotiation, leadership, recruitment, and talent development.

  • The role will involve:

  • Resourcing live client requirements, following a full brief from a senior team member. Identify, screen and qualify candidates, and pitch the candidates to the relevant client.

  • Generating candidates through research and headhunting

  • Connecting selected candidates with clients for short term projects

  • Maintaining a strong relationship with the candidates, ensuring their availability and activity in the market is kept up to date and tracked at all times

  • Building a strong network and database of relevant candidate contacts

  • Ability to achieve project goals, rather than just fulfilling job duties.

  • Previous experience in executive search is advantage.
  • Willing to learn new skills and work hard to progress your career.

  • Entirely fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English.

  • Previous relevant work experience in a western company environment is preferred.
