To support the positioning and brand image of the company as a responsible corporation, our client is seeking for a high calibre communications professional to join the regional corporate communications team.
Reporting to the Regional Head of Communications, you will be responsible for supporting the build out of a strong regional CR strategy and targeted KPIs in order to embed CR into core business processes to provide proof of the company’s commitment and leverage this proof to build trust amongst the company’s stakeholders in the region. Working closely with all business units, you will be driving and supporting CR efforts proactively by incorporating CR as an integral element of business process. You will also be coordinating efforts of local entities to measure and benchmark CR activities and performance to calculate its maturity level as well as to track the progress of the targets/KPIs associated with the annual action plans. Your other responsibilities are but not limited to communicate progress updates and next steps to management; ensure reporting deliverables are provided as scheduled; coordinate project work and assist relevant partner departments in implementing its practice, including NGO partnership; maintain strong CR governance and pro-actively engage appropriate stakeholders; develop regular internal and external communications on CR related activities and progress and etc.
The ideal candidate will be a degree holder in Communications/Journalism or related discipline, with 3-5 years of experience in regional communications and/or CR related functions. Financial industry experience is a plus. Working with hands-on approach, you are highly organized in coordinating and managing programmes and confident to work with senior level management. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required. Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
