Supporting the Head of Product Development, you will be acting as a centralized communication point between the Product Development team and other internal department by maintain the Company’s newly launched Product Line Management System (PLMS).  You will be ensuring the (PLMS) is maintained up-to-date, and gate-keeping the product line management process and ensuring all key milestones are met.  You will also be responsible for coordinating on behalf of the product development team with other internal departments within the Product Development process. Essentially, you will be responsible for:-

• Ensuring all internal stakeholders adhere to the product development timeline and process by using the PLMS as a governance, including sending out reminders and escalating red flags to the management when necessary. 
• Ensuring all key milestones are signed-off by the respective stakeholder timely. 
• Ensuring all processes and documents within the product development process is recorded, filed, prepared, and updated in the PLMS, including necessary documents for each key product development stage.  For example, comprehensive laboratory test reports on IP components are uploaded to the PLMS appropriately. 
• Able to make sense and draw data from the PLMS and create meaningful report to the management. 
• Using the PLMS as a backbone, act as a communication bridge between the Product Development team with other internal departments.  For example. Based on the data from PLMS, communicate product specification for packaging to Marketing department. 
• Coordinating with off-shore Product Development team members to ensure all processes are adhered. 
• Ensuring the data flow between PLMS with the Company’s ERP system (NAV).  This may include defining and creating master data reports from PLMS and working with IT to ensure the data are uploaded to NAV accurately. 

• Responsible for the preparation of PLMS training materials and conduct user training where required. 
• Acting as a Superuser to the PLMS to support general users on inquiries on a daily basis. 
• Coordinating with IT department whenever necessary for system maintenance and upgrade.  Conduct system testing as necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will be:- 

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• At least 5 years of working experience in product related job with good understanding of product development process
• Experienced in managing PLMS.  Infor experience would be an advantage
• Excellent MS Office skills, especially in MS Excel and MS Word
• Successful Project management track record
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good time management, organization skills and strong follow through
• Excellent communications skills in both English and Chinese
• Good team player, able to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Motivated self-starter with initiative
