Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • assist the Director of Student Affairs to lead the Student Finance and Resources Team to provide quality student services;
  • develop policies and execute plans in scholarship and award schemes, financial assistance and emergency schemes;
  • develop, implement and maintain a transcript in recognising students’ achievement in experiential learning / co-curricular activities;
  • handle different administrative works, such as preparation of publicity materials, website maintenance, compilation of annual reports and departmental budget, and taking up office administration duties;
  • plan and organise related ceremonial events and support special projects or College events; and
  • serve as secretary to various committees and working groups.

 
Applicants should:

  • possess a recognized degree with at least 7 years’ relevant experience;
  • have good leadership, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work independently, efficiently and under tight timelines;
  • possess a high level of competence in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese); and
  • be self-motivated and have the flexibility to adapt and respond to changing needs.

 
The appointee will be required to work in evenings, on weekends and public holidays.  Candidates with work experience in the tertiary education sector will be an advantage.
