Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients directly on all accounting issues and resolve issues independently
• Provide hands-on professional accounting and bookkeeping services to clients
• Responsible for the services rendered to the company’s clients on a day to day basis and ensure smooth operations
• Strengthen the relationship with clients and develop new business
• Manage client assignments, monitor and coach junior team members to deliver professional client services
• Work closely with the director and to make service proposals to existing and new clients and develop new services. 
• Liaise with clients on administrative matters, including set-up, billings and collections
• Supervise subordinates and review their work to ensure the accuracy of client deliverables
• Liaise and coordinate with external professionals, such as auditors

Requirements

Suitable candidates should possess:

• A diploma, degree or professional qualification in Accounting
• At least 5 years solid experience in accounting preferably gained in a professional firm
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of Quickbooks would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating a good command of written and spoken English (knowledge of French would be an advantage)
• Well organised with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong team player who wants to work in an international environment
