Our client a US Storage Vendor is seeking a Technical Manager which is a Senior Customer Facing role responsible for all aspects of technical delivery to the client's major account(s). The role will generally be on-site including senior customer-stake holder management and oversight of all client technical projects and services in the account.

 The individual will need solid hand’s on Storage Design, Implementation and Operations experience as well as stake holder management experience and be especially verse in project and change quality assurance and risk mitigation in a practical sense.

 This individual will be responsible to maintain trust and partnership with major customers through transparency and leadership of the initiatives within the scope of service delivery; as well as providing the thought leadership and drive towards continuous improvement.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead stake-holder communications ( internal & customer )
• Risk management and mitigation leadership.
• Issue & problem management and leadership.
• Project and operational methodology creation and improvement.
• Review and quality oversight of change plans including projects specific change requests.
• Leadership and review of all service deliverables to ensure service quality.
• Identify requirements and new project opportunities.
• Create solutions and impact assessments to improve existing infrastructure and to meet new requirements.  
• Lead or advise in an Architect role for new projects.
• Develop Performance and Capacity planning methodology, analyze capacity reports and make recommendations to optimize performance or balance / expand capacity.
• Coach / train team members
• Manage technical resource assignment within account
• Second level technical support / major incident support.  Lead/Review technical communication with customer during high impact incidents/problems
• Drive Continuous improvement  
• Perform and lead technology planning.
• Problem management.

 Requirement:

• Strong communications and customer facing skills.
• 15+ years IT experience
• 5+ years Storage Consultant / Administration experience
• Extensive knowledge of SAN / NAS architecture
• Solid enterprise storage design experience to meet performance, availability and disaster recovery requirements
• Solid experience leading large scale storage projects including data migration and site relocation
• Good hypervisor experience including VMWare, Hyper-V and KM
• Bachelor in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or Information Systems
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.   Fluency in Mandarin will be an advantage
