Job Description

Remuneration:

Salary ranges from $28,040 to $49,445 (exclusive of gratuity).  The offer will commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and working experience.

Entry Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology (IT)/computer discipline, or equivalent.
  • Have at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in management and implementation of Management Information System integration projects involving operations/finance/human resources management/construction and development projects, feasibility/technical studies, system analysis and design, programming, implementation and maintenance of software applications.
  • Solid experience in using MS-SQL, HTML, SharePoint (2013).
  • Posses basic knowledge on TCP/IP, Networking and Firewall.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with one or more of the following skills: Java/J2EE, Javascript, VB.Net, IIS.
  • An excellent team player with strong communication and vendor management skills.
  • Strong ability to transform business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Customer oriented and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English.

Duties:

The appointee will be deployed to undertake various duties, including: -

(a)    formulating, implementing and overseeing the IT strategy and development of BMCPC;

(b)   taking part in all phases of Management Informaiton System integration projects and computer projects including feasibility study, systems analysis and design, procurement and installation of computer systems, application and system programming, testing, system acceptance, capacity planning, implementation, system nursing and maintenance;

(c)    participating in managing outsourcing services including tendering and proposal evaluation of IT projects, requirement study and analysis, quality assurance of deliverables and service acceptance; and

(d)   being responsible for maintenance and development of Intranet System.

Terms of Appointment:

The successful applicant will initially be offered a 1-year contract, after which a contract of a longer term may be considered.  Upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance, the appointee will be granted a gratuity for the period of service.  Such gratuity, plus any contribution by the Employer to the MPF scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Scheme Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
