Role and Responsibilities:

• Closely work with QA, Safety, LM, MCC, TS etc. to carry out daily coordination and communication with the MROs/handling agencies;
• Carry out and manage RFQ/RFP for routine/special maintenance demand at HKG.
• Provide bidding analysis and result report to management. (Safety, Cost, TAT, Quality, Flexibility, Documentation, Customer services, tools/equipment, AOG support, Material and so forth);
• Handle payment arrangement, ensure all the charges matches the actual services and signed maintenance and handling contracts;
• Receive and process invoices of A-CHK/line/ground handling services;
• Deal with disputable invoices till settlement (e.g. man-hour, material, ground equipment provisioning and charges);
• Consolidate all the cost data and information and providing periodic report to management;
• Closely work with QA, Safety and PPC to carry out MRO/Agencies performance analysis;
• Monitor performance, discover discrepancy and take necessary actions for continues improvement to ensure safe, good and on-time performance;
• Coordinate/participate on-site inspections and provide report if necessary;
• Establish good working relationships with MROs/handling agencies as well as new service provider development;
• Monitor the validity of the contracts and take necessary action for the contract renewal;
• Handle ad-hoc projects assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Degree in engineering/engineering management, commercial, business administration or equivalent;
• At least 4 years in aircraft engineering and maintenance;
• At least 1 years experiences in outsourced aircraft maintenance contractor management and related project management;
• Good understanding of outsourced maintenance and ground handling requirements and work flow, must having actual experience in using IATA Standard Ground Handling Agreement (SGHA);
• Proficient in line maintenance A-CHK/C-HK biding, negotiating, contract establishing;
• Having basic knowledge in supplier investigations/warranty claims;
• Familiar with aircraft maintenance budget management and control;
• Familiar with aircraft system, MPD, schedule and nonscheduled maintenance workflow;
• Having basic understanding of airworthiness regulations and safety requirements;
• Having actual experiences in airline PPC is highly preferable;
• Good business sense, commercially aware, able to identify opportunities;
• Good negotiation skills and presentation skills, good at report writing;
• Commercially astute, ability to deal with suppliers and vendors maintaining and building effective relationship;
• Excellent skills on MS Office particularly excel;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with people;
• Flexible and willing to work on different projects;
• Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese language is a plus.
