Job Description
An internationally established art gallery is looking for a talented Sales / Art Consultant to join its dedicated team based in Hong Kong.
As a Sales / Art Consultant you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide a strong knowledge of all artwork to clients
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Assist with other duties throughout the gallery such as, the daily running of the gallery, exhibitions and managing the artworks and displays
- Provide support to other team members where required
Essential skills required:
- Possess excellent communication skills for new business and client development
- Strong passion and knowledge of art
- Work driven, fast learner with strong multi-tasking skills
- Flexibility to work additional hours as and when required
- Good business ability with a sales focus
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Motivated and proactive
- Proven sales track record and client database
Additional requirements:
- Based in Hong Kong / with HK working permit
- University degree, preferably in Art History or Art Business
- Requires experience in a commercial art environment (gallery / auction house / art fair)
- Willing to work on weekends and public holidays
Language skills:
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Preferably speaks Cantonese and/or Mandarin
