SCOPE: This role will aggressively drive the delivery of Marc Jacobs product to Marc Jacobs retail entities in order to meet new product launch dates, support successful replenishment and ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to our Asia Pacific retail stores & global wholesale clients in a manner that is consistent with velocity, quality and cost objectives.  At the outset this role is specific to Hong Kong and Macau, with regional scope development planned for China and Japan retail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Act as APAC regional coordinator for daily logistics operation among the cross-functions and the 3rd logistics party; Ensure all merchandises and non-merchandises delivered on right track;
• Contact with retail stores, merchandisers, and visual merchandisers in order to clearly identify operational requirements and communicate those requirements to the distribution services team.
• Work with different vendors to help ensure on-time shipment and delivery or product from factory to distribution center and distribution center to retail store
• Monitor and check goods reception in POS system.  Resolve discrepancies.
• Manage Supply chain and Logistics related reporting and analysis, e.g. on time shipment accuracy, on time shipping document, order & inventory report, delivered service level report, stock level reports etc
• Support the store distribution and returns process for HK, MC & CN retail.
• Help ensure import export, fish & wildlife and OGA compliance for all retail sample and production shipments within the region
• Collaborate with finance, merchandising and distribution services on physical inventories, reconciliations, stock adjustments, product destruction and monthly closing activities.
• Liaise with Marc Jacobs retail teams in Japan, China, Hong Kong and other regional locations, to ensure distribution processes are executed in order to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Participate Supply chain and Logistics related projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related discipline preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in retail or wholesale supply chain.
• Experience on ERP and POS system
• Previous Retail Logistics experience required
• A high level of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Proficient with Microsoft excel
• Ability to work independently, as well as with multiple departments
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Proven attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• Ability to deal with ambiguity or uncertainty and to act as an agent of change and improvement
