Job Description:-

• Communicate with Principals/ Owners on matters regarding crew changes;
• Dispatch & monitor status of seafarer for Pre-Employment Medical Examination;
• Ensure Statutory & Mandatory, National & International (STCW), Flag State and Principal’s requirements for joining seafarers are met;
• Preparations of POEA Contract of Employment, Letter of Request for Processing and Seafarer’s Information Sheet, dispatch requirements, declarations, addenda, guarantee letters, and other documentary requirements;
• Ensure that entry visa requirements including US Visa (if required) are met;
• Ensure flight bookings for joiners and off-signers are monitored which is arranged by Manning company;
• Coordinate with vessel’s agents regarding crew changes (if required);
• Budget sheets for manning companies to prepare and monitor the cost. Check the DA invoices from agency and assign the correct codes as per company accounting system;
• Checking and verifying the invoice from manning agency monthly and arrange their payments on time. Monitor the cash status on board and supplement as required through manning company;
• Updating personal details and employment particulars of ex-crew in the Mariners including forward planning. Maintain the performance evaluation of crew members on board;
• Prepare Crew on Board Report and maintain records in office;
• Maintain and update records of crew changes;
• Initiate the prevention of nonconformance within the Department and report to the Crewing/Manning Manager;
• Assist the Crewing/Manning Manager in implementing the Quality Management System within the Crewing/Manning Department;
• Perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the GM.

Requirements:-

• Form 5 or above with ship management or logistics industry experience will be advantage, fresh candidate can also considered;
• Good command of written & spoken English, knowledge of Mandarin will be advantage;
• Proficiency in MS Office;
• Mature, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and willing to learn;
• Immediate availability is preferred.
