JOB SUMMARY

 

Function as the talent acquisition expert for the Continent/Regional/Area Offices and partnering with HR Services team, provide sourcing and recruiting support to all above property functions.  Builds the organization’s edge on direct sourcing capability and reduces the reliance on external recruitment agencies.  Lead the HR/TA system projects including ATS, Recruiting Assessment and External Talent CRM. 
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE

 Education

  • University degree required
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing or talent research of which direct sourcing is a major component
  • Combined experience at both recruitment agency and well-established corporate setting preferred
  • Previous experience working in a complex organization environment with matrix reporting structure
  • Asia Pacific market knowledge is a must
  • Expert in both finding talent, influencing, and creating exceptional candidate journeys which match candidates to Marriott’s Careers.
Skill and Competency
  • Up to date specialist skills in sourcing, recruiting and related technology
  • Skills and knowledge in using Taleo recruiting system
  • Full proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Well-rounded communication skills and positive work attitude are required
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
  • Work together with the VP of Talent Acquisition in the day-to-end recruitment process for all functions in the Continent/Regional/Area offices in Asia Pacific
  • Act as a true Business Partner with Management team to be able to identify needs, capability gaps (current and future), opportunities and improvements and work towards bridging them through proactive talent acquisition strategies.
  • Own the recruitment of key positions, mapping strategies, university relations, and recruitment vendors
  • Manage the recruitment cycle from Junior to Senior levels across all functions
  • Ensure a full pipeline of candidates through the publication of roles both internally and externally, and ensure a smooth process for all hiring managers and candidates
  • Work closely with the business side in order to fully understand the organization structure of teams
  • Identify new sourcing channels to support the various pipelines and talent needs across the Continent/Regional/Area Offices
  • Help actively drive all sourcing channels, including employee referrals, online job boards, LinkedIn and utilization of vendors, campus hiring, etc.
  • Build, develop and cultivate various sourcing channels to support the direct sourcing strategy
  • Take active part in the full cycle of recruitment efforts, including emphasis on strong interview and assessment skills to effectively evaluate candidates and ensure the best fit
  • Lead the ATS – Taleo system implementation efforts as well as champion the usage in Asia Pacific
  • Lead the External Talent project in terms of overall strategy, system implementation as well as tracking & reporting
