Job Description
Major Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Director –
- to provide executive secretariat support to the ERB;
- to formulate, review and oversee implementation of human resources policies and strategies for the Executive Office pertaining to recruitment, compensation administration, staff training and development, performance management, staff relations, and discipline;
- to formulate and review investment policies and strategies, and oversee financial management of the Employees Retraining Fund, including costing, budgeting, and overseeing accounting functions;
- to formulate and review IT strategy to align with and support business development of the ERB, and drive and oversee effective implementation of IT projects;
- to ensure the provision of quality customer service and effective handling of complaints; and
- to oversee other corporate functions including accommodation and leasing, procurement, legal, and audit services.
Entry Requirements:
- A recognised university degree;
- with 10 years or more solid experience in the management of corporate services, of which at least 8 years should be in a senior position overseeing financial management and human resources management;
- well versed in the operation and work values of Government or public organisations;
- possess strategic mindset, broad outlook and high sense of integrity, proactive, dynamic, result-oriented and innovative;
- excellent leadership, analytical, organisational and interpersonal skills; and
- excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Remuneration and Terms:
Successful candidate will be remunerated in accordance with qualifications and experience. Terms and conditions of employment will be agreed and set out in the employment contract. In addition to 5-day week, we provide annual leave, medical and dental benefits, insurance coverage and retirement scheme. Appointment will be initially on contract terms for 2 years, subject to renewal by mutual agreement.
