Job Description

Applications are invited for the posts of

NATIVE-SPEAKING ENGLISH TEACHER (KINDERGARTEN) (Ref: A2/NET/KG/JDB) on a contract basis in the kindergartens managed by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in Shatin, Tuen Mun, Tai Po, Wong Tai Sin, Sheung Shui, Chai Wan, Tin Shui Wai, Tseung Kwan O, Kwun Tong and Kwai Chung.

 

Requirements

Applicants must be native-speaking English teachers possessing the following qualifications:

(a)      A recognized overseas or local university degree; OR

(b)     a recognized Qualified Kindergarten Teacher qualification or equivalent; AND

(c)      preferably with a recognized Certificate in Teaching of English as a Foreign Language or a Second Language (TEFL/TESL) or equivalent.

 

Salary and Conditions of Service

Currently HK$26,700 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 14). The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or being frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. Other benefits include a 10% contract discretionary payment, medical services, dental scheme and rental discount for Tung Wah’s residential properties.
