Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and provide day-to-day support on infrastructure areas including hardware, software, end-user and helpdesk support
• Responsible for administration, monitoring, backup/recovery and patch management for servers, firewall and networking equipment
• Handle Installation of hardware and software as well as maintain software / hardware inventory, process renewal, maintenance and subscription
• Deliver technical documentation of infrastructure, network diagram and standard operation procedures
• Liaise with third party vendors for consultation and assistance in the resolution of issues and queries
• Participate in infrastructure projects and implementation work
• Work closely with Application team to carry out IT projects
• Assist in negotiation with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure infrastructure-specific products and services
• Carry out maintenance/enhancement tasks as required by HKEX in order to maintain a smooth trading environment
• Handle infrastructure and security assignments as required by the Group and SFC Electronic Trading Ordinance and Circulars

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Scienceor related discipline
• Qualifications of MCSE / CCNA / LINUX is preferred
• 5 years’relevant working experience in IT Infrastructure area, preferably in finance or securities industry
• System support experience in LAN/WAN, MS Windows PC/Server & Linux environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server operating environment and network (Windows 2003,2008 Server, Active Directory, DNS & IIS) and in a virtualization environment
• Knowledge of networking equipment such as IDS/IPS, proxy servers, firewalls, routers and switches, TCP/IP is preferred
• Experience in PABX support and voice recording system is preferred
• Good understanding of trading and market data facilities such as Reuters RMDS, Bloomberg, Ayers, ET-Net, CCASS, DCASS, etc. an added advantage
• A good team player with sound IT know-how and exposure
• Able to provide occasional after-business hours operational or project support when necessary
• Shift duties are required
• Self-motivated, and able to work independently under a dynamic environment
• Meticulous and methodical in creating solutions with strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in both spoken and written English & Chinese including Mandarin
