About the Position

You will be responsible for overseeing production and ensuring quality for one of our most successful and rapidly growing brands within our portfolio. You will partner closely with our manufacturing partner to ensure that our requirements and standards are met and act as a key liaison between head office and production.

 

Some examples of tasks that the Sourcing / Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for:

 

• Coordinate with our third party inspection suppliers
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are met on site
• Responsible for the total quality management for our production on our suppliers site
• Ensure that the production planning is achieved in accordance with forecast
• Inventory tracking to ensure the right raw material are used on the production
• Liaise with company HQ to ensure that production planning is accurate
• Assess resource requirements planned by the suppliers
• Determine quality control standards for each process
• Re-negotiate timescales or schedules as necessary
• Advise for the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment to prevent downtime

 

You will be a highly self-motivated individual with a strong desire to accelerate your career by working for an organisation undergoing huge growth. You will have a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing environment within China and use your influencing skills to ensure that our goals are met.

 

Requirements

• 4+ years working within a dynamic manufacturing environment
• You will have overseen complete production of a finished good or significant component
• Comprehensive understanding of Quality Control procedures
• Previous experience of having worked in China
• Strong English and spoken Mandarin ability is preferred
