About the position

 

This is a great opportunity to be part of our successful Sales & Business Development Team, which helps our clients to bring new and innovative products to Hong Kong and the Asian region. You will be exposed to a diverse client base and learn about clients' requirements and business flow. The diversity of projects and tasks will ensure a steep learning curve and an exciting job role. The right candidate gets the chance to learn from a highly experienced team of entrepreneurs who mentor and teach their Staff. You will receive detailed training with regards to business, negotiation skills, relationship management and trading.

 

The role is full-time (3-month probation) and based in Hong Kong.

 

Your tasks

 

 

  • Handling client projects, client proposals, quotations and follow-ups for corporate gift business.

  • Researching new customers by calling up potential client companies and setting up meetings.

  • Working on and supporting a very diverse range of projects to support the business growth.

  • Contributing to the execution of our sales and marketing strategies.

  • Website product page updates, assisting with the selection of products to be included in marketing materials.

  • Attending trade shows and product events if necessary.

 

Profile: Who you are

 

 

  • A degree holder with at least 3 – 5 years related sales experience.

  • Ability to achieve project goals and to work to client deadlines, without compromising on the quality of your work.

  • Being a self-starter, highly motivated with a high degree of flexibility, and a pro-active personality.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with tact and diplomacy.

  • Willing to learn and to work hard to progress your career.

  • Positive thinking, able to work independently and under pressure.

  • Very well presented both on the phone and in front of clients.

  • Must be very detail oriented, and possess strong logical and problem solving skills.

  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills are essential. Strong ability to organise your workload independently, without losing focus.

  • Outgoing personality, and able to work well with different types of people. Strong at building relationships with clients.

  • Team player attitude rather than an individual contributor.

  • Entirely fluent in both written and spoken English and Cantonese is essential; fluency in spoken Mandarin is preferred.

  • Experience with design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, etc is a plus.
