Our client is a large retail organization and are recruiting for a Senior Manager, Mobile Solutions. The Candidate will manage the Mobile Projects, delivery of Mobile applications, as well as ensuring the cost effectiveness. He/she will establish guidelines, consistency of deliverables, and support the Business readiness from an IT perspective. As there will be a growing demand for mobile applications and mobile features, the successful candidate should have the capability to manage external vendors to ensure all projects are executed in a proper manner.

Job responsibility:

• Ensure delivery and consistency of digital and e-commerce mobile applications
• Set processes and frameworks to drive both business requirements and technical implication
• Provide transparent and accurate project status reports all along the different project phases (development, SIT, UAT, deployment, etc.)
• Act as project leader to manage project plan, timeline and communication across project stakeholders.
• Prepare project documentations including Requirement Specifications, Design Specifications, UAT Plans and Reports, Training, User Guides, etc.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stream leaders (UX, QA) and business teams to plan development, tests and maintenance of mobile applications
• Adapt methodology to the variety of projects: Agile, waterfall, innovation, in-house or outsourced
• Support and oversee the deployment of application, prepare project roll-out plans and validation testing
• Collaborate with Financial team to manage and keep track of expenditure, billing milestone tracking and other project financial activities
• Coordinate and consult on human change management to ensure development can be adopted by business users
• Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner
• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team

Role Requirements:

•          Excellent multitasking and interpersonal skills to handle all of our vendors and stakeholders in a cohesive way
•          Understanding and basic knowledge of digital interface design processes and technologies (e.g. Information Architecture, UI & Interaction Design, Creative Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
•          Strong negotiation and influence skills
•          4 years of customer facing experience
•          Minimum 2-3 year Agile delivery experience
•          Knowledge of trends and latest technologies in digital marketing and mobile solutions
•          Good organizational and time-management skills
•          Appreciation for the importance of sound technical development and QA
•          Basic knowledge in Continuous Integration Platform, Deployment tools, code quality management, monitoring tools
•          Knowledge on the Retail Industry or travel retail industry

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge in:
• Web and mobile architecture
• Framework for Front End development
• Mobile Payment and Fraud solution
• Code quality and analysis tools
• Release and deployment tools
