The person:

• Degree / Diploma in logistic / purchasing / trade management would also be considered
• Overseas exposures would be advantageous
• Break bulk cargo project experiences
• Knowledge of overseas customs/ quarantine requirements is an advantage
• Well organised, able to prioritize work orders, good time management
• Good communication skills, able to work under pressure & tight schedule independently, analytical, self-motivated and good team player
• Excellent written and spoken skills of Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English are necessary, any other additional foreign languages would be welcome
• At least 3 years of shipping experience, prior experience in break-bulk cargo
• Computer literate, well-versed in MS office and chinese word processing

The duties:

• Arrange all shipping documents of import and export, and necessary accompanying documents such as Proforma invoice, packing list, etc.
• Liaise closely and coordinate with overseas suppliers and overseas office logistics officer for the shipping arrangement
• Keep tracking of the shipments
• Support the logistics/ Procurement team members
• Travel abroad to overseas offices for meeting may be required
• Other ad hoc projects
