The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

The Role:

• Analyze transactions for airline and jurisdiction risk, and “covering” current and potential lessees globally. On site due diligence as necessary.
• Manage covenant compliance and customer KYC requirements.
• Participate in lease contract negotiation and lease restructuring.
• Develop strong relationships with key people within the client base of Goshawk.
• Perform regular customer visits to update credit risk analysis.
• Provide risk reports to shareholders as required.
• Aid origination to source trading opportunities for Goshawk.
• Produce internal credit papers for each transaction and work with other members of the team through each step of the deal approval process through to the closure of a transaction.
• Work with the strategy and portfolio managers to define portfolio shape and disposal potential.
• Liaise with all relevant parties both internal and external to ensure all ongoing reporting requirements are met.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of aviation experience in a similar role. 
• Degree in business, finance or related disciplines preferable.
• Strong understanding of the aviation industry and fundamentals around aircraft leasing and financing.
• Proven abilities in analysing companies/airlines and sector trends.
• Commercial outlook and deal driven.
• Relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with key external (airlines/lessors etc.) and internal Goshawk interfaces.
• Ability to communicate the Goshawk business to clients.
• Strong organisational ability combined with a proactive approach, flexibility and willingness to travel extensively.
• To operate at all times as a team player.
