Job Description

  • Identify strategic partnerships/alliances with good potential based on business priorities of the Bank 
  • Develop and maintain good alliances relationship and sound business models to secure the best opportunity for the Bank - be it client acquisition, CVP enhancements or engagement activities 
  • Develop intermediaries or alliances networks based in Hong Kong and Mainland China and negotiate business terms and sales activities 
  • Be fully familiar with Bank's Alliances Guidelines and relevant policies, and conduct business based on it 
  • Manage Alliances Empanelment process in collaboration with various stakeholders: 
  • Manage company background checks, partnership agreements and ensure commitments are duly fulfilled 
  • Consistent alignment with various Business Units on business direction & requirements 
  • Be the main liaison between external alliance partners and internal partners like Business Units and Marketing for contracts, marketing collaterals and events implementation 
  • Communicate all tie-ups or events to relevant staff like front-liners and call centre agents 
  • Provide training to branches as needed on cross border initiatives / processes 
  • Ensure compliance and control with all internal and external regulations and guidelines 


Qualifications and Skills 

  • Degree holder in any business discipline 
  • Extensive direct experience in developing partnership/alliances for Bank is a plus 
  • Strong team player who is energetic, creative, strategic and able to operate in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and deliver on multiple projects under tight timelines 
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills (i.e. presentation skills) in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, with an eye for details 
  • Strong relationship management skills to engage senior executives of strategic partners
