Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

Supporting the Senior Manager, Commercial Finance, with a focus on business partnering, the senior business analyst will be responsible for:

1. Partner with the commercial and business leads to better understand the business performance in periods of change
   • Building, assisting and implementing the commercial agendas
   • Collaborate on opportunities to improve margin and profitability for the group  
   • Identify and enable transformational business growth initiatives    
     
     
2. Deliver clarity in what are the key drivers for performance WBA sourcing
   • Develop performance packs on a monthly basis by working together with respective commercial leads and owners of business KPIs
   • Engage with key managers to identify improvement opportunities arising from the KPI performance
   • Work with business owners to validate KPIs
   • Provide support to commercial teams in building and maintaining a quality database on KPI performance  
     
     
3. Provide financial and commercial evaluation of new projects across the business and/or Asia Region. This encompasses analysis, business case development, due diligence review, financial modeling, and project costing / reporting.
   
   
4. Assist in ad hoc projects with the wider finance team including of periodic compliance reviews in accordance with group policy requirements.   

Key Position Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in business analysis and management reporting in an MNC, sourcing/retail experience an advantage, those individuals that have less experience may be considered for a business analyst role
• Experience liaising external parties/financial institutions on macro outlook and commodity prices  
• Experience in analysis of complex data, both narrative and statistics
• Project management experience and comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Goal-driven and independent
• Strong knowledge in handling Commercial matters
• Good command of English & Chinese
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
